Myers Industries agrees to sell subsidiaries
Myers Industries reaches deal to sell assets of subsidiaries to Zhongding Sealing

AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Plastics maker Myers Industries Inc. said late Tuesday that it agreed to sell substantially all of its Buckhorn Rubber Products Inc. and Michigan Rubber Products Inc. subsidiaries to Zhongding Sealing Parts Co.
Assuming that all of the conditions set in the nonbinding letter of intent are met, Myers said it expects the sale to occur before November.
Myers shares rose 19 cents to $10.93 in Wednesday afternoon trading.
