AMITYVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc., (NASDAQ: NSSC - News), one of the world’s leading suppliers of high performance electronic security equipment for over 30 years, today announced it has received a great deal of positive feedback regarding its recent presence at the ISC East, a major industry tradeshow held October 28th and 29th at the Jacob Javits Center, in New York City. Among attendees were distributors, security dealers and investors.

NAPCO’s™ booth, positioned in a high-traffic part of the show, had new products on display, including the GEMC™ Commercial Combination Burglar and Fire Alarm System, which is a major innovation in complete protection for all types of commercial buildings. A progressive alarm dealer from Connecticut, Mr. Bob Rossman of United Alarm stated, "NAPCO has launched the most comprehensive and innovative commercial alarm line I've seen, to-date, in our industry. This product line will enable us to generate, all-important, commercial alarm sales at a time where this segment is still strong."

Attendees also flocked to the iSee Video™ section of the NAPCO booth to learn more about this revolutionary multi-camera video monitoring system for homes and businesses whereby one can see their premises over a cell phone or computer. It also features internet video recorder storage and offers dealers and NAPCO recurring revenue opportunities. Mr. Joel Matlin, President and CEO of AlarmForce Industries located in Toronto, Canada said, “We have offices all across Canada and we have been looking for a video solution that fits our model from an installation, cost and service perspective. The iSee Video product looks to meet those criteria. Very sellable.”

Several dealers were impressed with the NAPCO BioReader™, a weatherproof keypad that incorporates a high-quality, state-of-the-art, biometric fingerprint reader and works with either NAPCO alarm systems or standalone systems such as garage door openers. Mr. Ken Gould, with American Alarm in Long Island City, stated, "I think this is a really innovative product that gives us an opportunity to up sell our residential accounts with something different, that will set us apart."

Locking professionals who visited the show all concurred that the revolutionary Alarm Lock’s™ Trilogy Networx™, a wireless network line of electronic locks, would expand their applications in large school campuses, hospitals and government institutions. The dealers felt the wireless access control product line appeals to vertical markets which are all benefitting from stimulus funds.

Investors alike were positive on the future of the security industry and NAPCO’s new products. “I was impressed with NAPCO’s presence at the ISC show,” stated Mr. Larry Walsh, a New York metropolitan-area stockbroker. “There were many people highly interested in NAPCO’s products.
