MELVILLE, NY--(Marketwire - 10/07/09) - FONAR Corporation (NASDAQ:FONR - News) today announced that the NASDAQ Listing and Hearing Review Council (the "Listing Council") is continuing to review whether FONAR, which filed its Form 10-K for the fiscal year, June 30, 2009, is now in compliance with NASDAQ's continued listing requirements. A decision is expected shortly. The Company intends to make an announcement upon receipt of NASDAQ's final determination.
