HOUSTON, June 29, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (NYSE Amex:UWN) today announced that Jack's at the Grande and the expansion of the Colorado Grande Casino in Cripple Creek will officially debut on July 2, 2009.
"The Colorado Grande team has worked diligently over the past few months getting Jack's at the Grande ready for its debut. We're proud we were able to fast track this expansion and complete it ahead of schedule. We feel this expansion, including the addition of table games and our new coffee bar, significantly adds to the overall experience at Colorado Grande," said Robert Sturges, CEO of Nevada Gold.
The expansion allows the Colorado Grande Casino to take advantage of the recently passed amendment which authorizes an increase in the bet limits from $5 to $100, allows additional types of table games, authorizes 24-hour gaming instead of the current 18 hours and establishes a fixed tax rate.
The Colorado Grande-Cripple Creek Casino is a 7,500 square foot facility located near the center of the Cripple Creek market. The property currently consists of approximately 200 slot machines, four table games, five guest rooms and 44 parking spaces as well as the number one restaurant in town, Maggie's.
