Luminaries from Industry and Academia Explore System-level Design Solutions and Best Practices
--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI):
WHO: The Open
SystemC Initiative (OSCI), an independent, non-profit organization
dedicated to supporting and advancing SystemC™ as an industry-standard
language for electronic system-level (ESL) design, announced the newly
formed Taiwan SystemC Users Group (TSCUG) will host its first forum on
November 16 at the Ambassador Hotel in Hsinchu. The event is free of
charge to the electronic design community. To register and view the
agenda visit: http://www.stcevent.itri.org.tw/TSCUG_eDM_English_v1.htm.
WHAT: In 2005, Taiwan launched various ESL movements in education, training, standardization and industrialization. As part of that movement, an ESL Working Group was formed within the Taiwan SoC Consortium to raise the awareness and promote the adoption of ESL design methodologies. Recognizing the importance of SystemC to the electronic design community, the ESL WG recently transformed to become the Taiwan SystemC Users Group (TSCUG), an independent user organization that will host regular open forums to further promote ESL technologies.
The first-ever TSCUG forum features presentations from industry experts and academia who will discuss ESL design today, and best practices moving forward. Highlights include:
