(Northland) (TSX:NAU - News)(Oslo:NAUR - News)(Frankfurt:NBS - News) advises that the technical report in support of the Preliminary Economic Assessment on Northland's Kaunisvaara Iron Concentrate Project has been filed on SEDAR and is available for download on Northland's website.

On September 7, 2009, Northland announced that the Kaunisvaara Project was technically feasible and financially positive. Using a discount rate of 8%, the Project has a potential Net Present Value of USD 393 million and an Internal Rate of Return of 21.1%.
