Omnicare names CRO unit president, CEO
Omnicare names Dr. James Pusey president, CEO of its clinical research organization unit

COVINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Omnicare Inc., which dispenses drugs to nursing homes and long-term care facilities, said Wednesday it named Dr. James M. Pusey president and CEO of the company's contract research organization.
Pusey, 50, succeeds Dr. Dale B. Evans, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Pusey previously worked as senior vice president and general manager of global clinical development at MDS Pharma Services, a unit of MDS Inc.
Shares of Omnicare fell 57 cents, or 2.5 percent, to $22.34 in afternoon trading. The stock has traded between $19.14 and $29.74 over the last 52 weeks.
