Oncothyreon names Douglas Williams to board
Biotech company Oncothyreon names ZymoGenetics CEO Douglas Williams to its board

SEATTLE (AP) -- Biotechnology drug developer Oncothyreon Inc. said Monday that Douglas E. Williams was named to its board.
Williams, 51, currently serves as chief executive of ZymoGenetics Inc. He previously held senior level positions at Seattle Genetics Inc., Immunex Corp. and Amgen Inc. He is also a director of Array BioPharma Inc. and Aerovance Inc.
Oncothyreon specializes in the development of therapies to treat cancer.
Shares gained 7 cents to close at $5.08. The stock has traded between 62 cents and $7.77 in the past 52 weeks and is up more than sixfold since the start of the year.
