  • On 2:45 pm EST, Friday November 21, 2008

Among the earnings projection stories for Friday, Nov. 21, from AP Financial News:

ATLANTA (AP) -- Nine days after announcing new overseas routes for 2009, Delta Air Lines Inc., the world's biggest carrier, said in a regulatory filing Friday it plans to reduce future domestic and international capacity because demand for seats has slowed amid the global financial crisis.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Deeper projected losses from a discontinued business prompted insurer Cigna Corp. on Friday to lower its 2008 outlook for consolidated adjusted income from operations.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. said Friday its profit margins deteriorated in the first half of November as selling prices declined and economic uncertainty eroded demand.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Solar cell maker Canadian Solar Inc. on Friday lowered its fourth-quarter revenue forecast, citing declining demand, tight credit markets and its plans to reduce year-end shipments.
