Outlook roundup: Plexus projects 1Q profit, AmeriGas predicts 2009 earnings of $224M

NEENAH, Wis. (AP) -- Plexus Corp. said it expects to post a fiscal first-quarter profit of 31 cents to 36 cents per share.

VALLEY FORGE, Pa. (AP) -- AmeriGas Propane Inc. said its general partner, propane marketer AmeriGas Partners LP, expects to report a fiscal 2009 profit of about $224 million.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- The travel industry is working to redefine itself as a key player in the American economy: a means by which companies can improve profits, a source of tax revenue and a provider of jobs.
