HOUSTON (AP) -- Parker Drilling Co. said Wednesday its Chief Operating Officer David C. Mannon succeeded Robert Parker Jr., its CEO of 18 years.
Mannon joined the company in 2004 as chief operating officer and added the title of president three years later. Mannon has 30 years of experience in the drilling industry. He also joined the board. Robert Parker Jr. will remain executive chairman.
Parker Drilling, based in Houston, provides contract drilling, rental tools and project-management services to the energy industry.
