MALLIN GRANDE, Chile--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Patagonia Acres Fishing Lodge has opened its doors as the premier destination for trout fishing on Lake General Carrera. Nearly 900 miles south of Santiago, Patagonia Acres is in the heart of sport fishing’s last frontier.

“We provide the most complete and comfortable guided fishing excursions and accommodations in South America,” said Chris Harrison, owner.

“With years of fishing experience, we take guests to fly and spincast fishing destinations for Trout (Rainbow, Brown and Perca) and Chum on the lake, nearby coves and rivers,” added Jorge Olivero Leal, fishing guide. “We fish with dry and wet flies, Rapalas, Kaiman, Spinners, Spoons and lures that are known to attract the aggressive fish in the region,” says Olivero.

Patagonia Acres is easily reached through Santiago, Chile, with round-trip transportation provided from Balmaceda, Chile. Fishing packages are for seven days and six nights, with each trip beginning on Monday morning and departing on Sunday afternoon. The Lodge provides all food, lodging, fishing excursions, golf, and beverages, including wine, beer and pisco sours. In addition, the Lodge has cable television and Internet access.
