Pernod Ricard USA names Matt Aeppli as senior vice president, spirits and marketing

PURCHASE, N.Y. (AP) -- Spirits and wine company Pernod Ricard USA on Wednesday named Matt Aeppli as senior vice president, spirits and marketing.

Aeppli has served as vice president of global marketing for The Absolut Co. since 2007 and will be succeeded in that position by Anna Malmhake, who currently serves as director of global marketing.

Aeppli will report to Pernod Ricard Chairman and CEO Paul Duffy.

Pernod Ricard USA is a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard SA, which closed on the acquisition of the Absolut vodka brand in 2008.
