MILPITAS, Calif., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Phoenix Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTEC - News), the leader in PC 3.0(TM) products, services and embedded technologies, today announced it has filed an amended complaint with the Santa Clara County Superior Court in its lawsuit against DeviceVM, Inc. and a former Phoenix employee. The suit alleges trade secret theft and conversion of intellectual property assets by DeviceVM. Phoenix is seeking restitution, compensatory and punitive damages as well as a constructive trust. Founded in 2006, DeviceVM, maker of the Splashtop® product is a privately held software company headquartered in San Jose, CA.
