CHICAGO (AP) -- Adult entertainment company Playboy Enterprises Inc. said Tuesday it promoted Alex L. Vaickus to the newly created position of company president.
Vaickus, who is currently executive vice president and president of global licensing, will oversee all of the company's business operations in his new role, the company said.
"Today's reorganization more tightly integrates our businesses to enable a more collaborative operation," CEO Scott Flanders said in a statement.
Vaickus, 50, joined Playboy in 1998 as a vice president for strategic planning.
Shares of Playboy Enterprises rose 3 cents to $2.91 in morning trading.
