Plexus expects 1Q profit of 31 cents to 36 cents per share

NEENAH, Wis. (AP) -- Plexus Corp. said Wednesday it expects to post a fiscal first-quarter profit of 31 cents to 36 cents per share.

The electronics manufacturing services provider's projection excludes any restructuring charges but includes about 5 cents per share in stock-option expenses.

Plexus said it expects the quarter's sales to total between $405 million and $440 million.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect a profit of 30 cents per share on $413.8 million in revenue.

In aftermarket trading, Plexus shares fell 58 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $23.51, after dropping $1.47, or 5.8 percent, to $24.09 in the regular session.
