MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Polaris Industries Inc. said Wednesday its defense subsidiary received a $2.4 million contract to build off-road vehicles for the National Guard.
Polaris Defense said the National Guard will use the Ranger 800 Crew Side-by-Sides for missions abroad and disaster relief at home.
Shares of Polaris Industries closed Tuesday at $43.41. Shares of the maker of off-road vehicles and motorcycles are up more than 50 percent since the start of the year.
