Q9 has enjoyed considerable success in Calgary since opening its first facility in October, 2002. It has invested more than $90 million in its three data centres, filling the first two to capacity.
The newest data centre is the largest to date in Calgary and was built to the same exacting standards as all Q9 data centres. Features include outside air cooling to maximize energy efficiency, biometric security systems, multiple connections to the Internet, redundant power, HVAC and fire suppression systems, as well as 7x24 on-site security and technical support teams.
