RCN Offers Free Preview of Two Spanish-Language Networks: CNN en Español and Fox Sports en Español

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - 10/28/09) - RCN Corporation (NASDAQ:RCNI - News) announced today it will offer its subscribers free previews of CNN en Espa�ol and Fox Sports en Espa�ol. The free preview for CNN en Espa�ol runs now through October 30. The Fox Sports en Espa�ol free preview runs from October 28 through November 4.

CNN en Espa�ol, which launched in March 1997, is the 24-hour Spanish-language network news addressed to Latin America. CNN en Espa�ol provides reports of major world events, live coverage supplemented with analysis, news -- international business and finance, sports and notes of interest 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. CNN en Espa�ol can be seen on RCN channel 563, except in the Lehigh Valley market where it is shown on RCN channel 513.

Fox Sports en Espa�ol (FSE) is the first Spanish-language all sports network in the United States offering comprehensive coverage of the most important sporting events year round, including the biggest Latin American and international soccer competitions and leagues, baseball, combat sports, original productions and in depth, daily sports news. FSE appears on RCN channel 361 in the Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. markets. In Boston, it can be seen on RCN channel 571 and on RCN channel 521 in Lehigh Valley.
