INDIANAPOLIS & BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A partnership agreement has been signed between Interactive Intelligence (Nasdaq: ININ - News) and RWD Technologies under which RWD will provide consulting services for the Interactive Intelligence communications-based process automation solution, Interaction Process Automation^™ (IPA).

RWD employs more than 900 people worldwide, and has more than 20 years of experience providing human and operational performance improvement solutions. Its professional services agreement with Interactive Intelligence offers IPA customers pre-implementation consulting services to help them maximize return on investment.

IPA leverages the Interactive Intelligence IP-based unified communications platform to orchestrate the delivery of work, thus giving organizations everything they need to capture, prioritize, route, escalate and track each step of a business process.

IPA is planned for general availability throughout North America in Q4 2009. International availability is planned for Q1 2010. IPA will be offered through select Interactive Intelligence certified resellers and through the company’s direct sales force.
