“I firmly believe that our students need a deeper knowledge of foreign languages and cultures to not only compete, but thrive in an increasingly global economy,” said Rep. Sanchez. “Rosetta Stone and other organizations will be critical partners in promoting language-learning and international education in our schools. I am thrilled to have their support as we strive to make better, smarter investments in America’s children and their teachers.”

“We are extremely pleased to align with Rep. Sanchez on the H.R. 3359 U.S. and World Education Act to promote the value of language learning in the U.S.,” said Tom Adams, president and CEO, Rosetta Stone Inc. “By harnessing technology and promoting innovation, we can empower educators and help make the youth of America true global citizens.”

The U.S. and the World Education Act strives to address the growing education gap separating children in America from their counterparts in other industrialized countries. Rep.
