Room 214 to Donate 100 Free Tickets to iEmpathize Launch Event to End Child Trafficking

BOULDER, Colo., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Room 214, a Boulder, Colo.-based social media agency (www.room214.com), today announced it will donate free tickets to the first 100 people who tweet about the iEmpathize (www.iempathize.org) Launch Party and Concert taking place at the Boulder Theater, Mon., Sept. 21 at 7 pm. This social media promotion is available by tweeting about the event by using the hashtag "#iempathize" before Sept. 21. The iEmpathize Launch Party and Concert provides people in the Boulder/Denver area an opportunity to take an active role in changing the lives of children around the world that are brutalized by the menacing problem of child sex trafficking. The evening will feature a performance by Son Lux (NPR's "Best Unknown of 2008"), the premiere of the masterfully produced iE short film, and the Empathy Experience, a gallery installation with story-telling artifacts from locations across the world.

iEmpathize focuses on bringing to light issues of injustice that are often overlooked or ignored. It has developed two campaigns; iExplore, focusing on understanding, and iEngage, focusing on involvement. iEmpathize creates "Empathy Experiences and Events" using media tools, the arts and publicity events. It creates multiple initiatives that work toward understanding and involvement, which materialize in home gatherings, a yearly concert series, business partnerships, student movements and a faith community network. Ultimately, these efforts translate to developing field partnerships to resource existing under-funded human rights organizations and their programs.
