Rural/Metro to Host Investor Day at NASDAQ

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 26, 2009 -- Rural/Metro Corporation (NasdaqCM:RURL - News), a leading provider of ambulance and private fire protection services, announced today it will host an Investor Day event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Eastern) Friday, April 3, 2009 at the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City.

Chief Executive Officer Jack Brucker will be joined by Chief Financial Officer Kristi Ponczak and Group President Todd Walker to discuss operations and performance and provide a demonstration of the Company's Electronic Patient Care Record system. Presentations will be followed by a roundtable luncheon with management.
