SRA gets 2 deals from CDC worth up to $55 million for wide range of services

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) -- SRA International Inc. said Tuesday it received two contracts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention worth up to $55 million.

On the first deal, worth up to $35 million over a five-year period, the company will work with the CDC's National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB prevention on a range of services that include monitoring, evaluation and training.

The second deal is a five-year blanket purchasing agreement worth up to $20 million with the CDC's Coordinating Office for Terrorism Preparedness and Emergency Response.

Shares of SRA gained a penny to $22.09 in afternoon trading.
