LOS ANGELES, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 7, 2009 -- Clint Romag, author of the Bigfoot horror series "The Sasquatch Encounters," is releasing his latest book "The Werewolf King."

Time is quickly running out for Cameron Rossin as he is losing the battle with the beast inside. His only hope lies in the far north on Ellesmere Island where the Werewolf King abides. With the belief that by killing the king will break the curse, Cameron and his friends, as well as a group of mercenaries, travel to the Arctic island. Attacked and hunted by hordes of wolves, they will be hard pressed to just survive. How will they be able to stand against the Werewolf King? How will they escape the island? Matters only grow worse when Cameron discovers that another evil is waiting for him. This enemy not only wants his life, but it wants his soul.

"Ellesmere Island holds the answers," Clint Romag said. "Cameron will have to face the Werewolf King, a being centuries old and even if he survives the encounter does that necessarily mean he will be free from the curse? It's Cameron's last-ditch effort to find a way to destroy the monster within and if he fails the beast will consume him. What Cameron will find out is that there are other secrets on the island and that something much worse than the Werewolf King will confront him."

"Also in this book, readers will finally get to learn the history of the werewolves," Romag said. "How did they come into existence? What part has the Werewolf King played through the years? How long has this curse been on the earth? All these questions and many more will be answered."

Jahrome Youngker, who has done the artwork for many of Romag's books, created the cover for "The Werewolf King."
