Sanderson Farms declares 15 cent dividend
Sanderson Farms declares regular quarterly dividend of 15 cents

LAUREL, Miss. (AP) -- Chicken producer Sanderson Farms Inc. said Thursday that its board has declared a regular quarterly dividend of 15 cents a share, up 7.1 percent from the previous rate of 14 cents.
It will be paid Oct. 20 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 6.
This brings the company's annual dividend rate to 60 cents per share.
Shares of Laurel, Miss.-based Sanderson fell 46 cents to close at $39.22 Thursday, before the dividend announcement.
