(NYSE:SRQ - News) (AMEX:SRQ - News) or DWS RREEF Real Estate Fund II, Inc. The complaint alleges that the defendants violated the federal securities laws by misrepresenting and failing to disclose material adverse facts. According to the complaint, the defendants failed to disclose exceptional risks associated with the Funds. As a result of the defendants' false and misleading statements, investors purchased the Funds' common stock at artificially inflated prices and were damaged thereby.

The complaint further alleges that the defendants issued disclosures that caused investors to realize that distributions would cease. As a result, the Funds' prices dropped and have never recovered.
