Shire names David Stout to its board of directors

NEW YORK (AP) -- Shire PLC said Monday it named David Stout, former president of pharmaceutical operations at GlaxoSmithKline, to the drug developer's board of directors.

He is also on the boards at Allos Therapeutics Inc., Jabil Circuit Inc. and Airgas Inc.
