VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 2, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Silverado Gold Mines Ltd (OTCBB:SLGLF - News; Frankfurt:SLGL - News; www.silverado.com; the "Company" or "Silverado") appointed Donald Balletto as its new chief financial officer, effective June 25, 2009. Balletto, who recently joined the Company's board of directors, will now play a key role on Silverado's executive team.
