VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - 10/29/09) - Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX:SVM - News)(AMEX:SVM - News) ("Silvercorp") plans to release its unaudited second quarter results for the period ended September 31, 2009, on Monday, November 9, 2009, after the close of the market.

Silvercorp's management will hold a conference call on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 8:00 a.m. PT/11:00 a.m. ET to discuss the second quarter results with analysts.
