TAMPA, FL--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 8, 2009 -- Skyway Software, a code generation alternative for delivering Java EE applications for the Spring Framework, announced today they have received "Ready for IBM Rational Software" validation. The Spring Framework is an open source application framework for the Java platform.

Skyway Software's Skyway Builder product now integrates with the IBM Rational architect family of products. IBM Rational architecture management solutions for model-driven development enable the productivity and quality benefits of full model driven development, from business and architecture modeling through detailed design, code generation and deployment, within a single development environment. High level Unified Modeling Language (UML) models that capture your business services, data objects and web interfaces can be automatically transformed to the Skyway design model for generating business applications based on the Spring Framework.
