"The South Peace Pipeline project represents an important part of Spectra Energy's significant expansion activities designed to meet the needs and timing of area producers and downstream customers," said Duane Rae, vice president, Field Services, Spectra Energy Transmission West. "This pipeline, which has a capacity in excess of 220 million cubic feet per day (Mmcf/d), provides Montney producers in the emerging South Peace region with access to our vast Fort St. John area infrastructure, including our McMahon gas processing plant."
"Over the past two years we have also completed a turnaround of our processing facilities at the plant, which is now capable of operating at its full design capacity of 740 MMcf/d," said Rae.
Building on more than five decades of experience, resources and assets in northeast B.C., Spectra Energy is growing its infrastructure in some of the most promising new unconventional developments to move natural gas safely, efficiently and responsibly to market.
