The Distribution Management Cognitive Trainer (DMCT) application was selected from over fifty nominees. Developed in cooperation with the US Army's Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM-STTC), the USC Institute for Creative Technologies and Quicksilver Software, Inc., DMCT sharpens the decision-making capabilities of US Army logistical planners.
In the announcement of the 2008 award winners, Director of the Army Modeling and Simulation Directorate James C. Cooke said, "The efforts of the Distribution Management Cognitive Trainer Project Team reflects great credit on themselves, RDECOM Simulation & Training Technology Center, and the United States Army."
The award will be presented at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation & Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, FL on 2 December 2008.
