CEDAR FALLS, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--T8 Webware, a provider of Web development, management and hosting services for the financial industry, ended the first half of 2010 with record revenue and customer growth compared to 2009’s midyear mark.

T8 Webware orchestrated the launch of 53 new websites just during the first half of 2010. It also attracted 36 new customers in the first and second quarters, an increase of 140 percent compared to the same period last year. In all, the company has provided more than 190 community banks and credit unions with progressive, non-template driven websites, all of which are mobile-optimized, to support their development of true online brand equity.

A reason for the growth is T8 Webware’s geographic expansion. Maintaining a strong presence in the Midwest where it was founded and still operates, the company now has customers spanning the country in 22 states, including Hawaii, California, Ohio, Louisiana, Virginia and New Mexico. To accommodate the demand for its Web development, design and hosting expertise, T8 Webware brought on 11 new employees this year as well.

“Our company values content as king; we produce an effective Web presence for our customers by providing them the tools to easily maintain innovative, dynamic sites that best engage their customers and members,” said Wade Arnold, CEO, T8 Webware. “T8 Webware’s recent growth can be largely attributed to our sole focus on financial institutions. We understand what banks and credit unions need to keep people on their sites and heighten online visibility, as well as how to support Web content management while minimizing associated compliance risks and concerns. We have received many new customers because they have seen our work in the industry, and they know our dedication to making each website unique.”

The company’s content management system, FREEDOM8, enables financial institutions to provide updates to their Web sites by any authorized user, from any location at any time, while ensuring FFIEC guidelines and FDIC functional compliance. FREEDOM8 maintains a running log of any and all site changes, and the user interface reflects a word processor format, making the system easy for anyone to use. In March, T8 Webware also introduced a customizable online overdraft consent form and electronic submission tool to meet financial institutions’ Regulation E requirements; the module fully automates the consumer consent process.
