ANNAPOLIS, MD--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 18, 2008 -- TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) (NasdaqGM:TSYS - News), a leading provider of mission-critical wireless communications, today announced that it has received a $5 million contract from the Department of Defense (DoD) for SwiftLink systems. The contract is in effect through June 2009.
