TW Telecom gets $1.4M Air Force contract

TW Telecom receives $1.4 million contract to provide services at Peterson Air Force Base

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- TW Telecom Inc. said Wednesday it received a five-year contract valued at $1.4 million from the U.S. Air Force to provide data, Internet and voice services at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The company said installation of the services will be complete by Dec. 31.

Shares of TW Telecom rose 28 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $12 in midday trading.
