Tanger Factory's board declares regular dividend of 38.25 cents per share for 3rd-quarter

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. said Thursday its board declared a dividend of 38.25 cents per common share for the third quarter ended Sept. 30.

The cash dividend will be payable to shareholders of record on Oct. 30.

Separately, the company's board declared a dividend of roughly 46.88 cents per share on 3 million 7.5 percent class C preferred shares. That dividend will be payable on Nov. 16, 2009 to holders on record as of Oct. 30.

Shares of Tanger added 89 cents, or 2.5 percent, to $37.17 in afternoon trading.
