NEW IBERIA, LA--(Marketwire - 09/23/09) - (AMEX:TSH - News) Patrick Little, President and CEO, Teche Federal Bank, announced that Teche Federal Bank recently launched "All-Day Banking." The bank is one of the first financial institutions in this area to offer the service. Weekday transactions made at Teche Federal Bank branches anytime before closing will be credited to accounts the same day.

"All-Day Banking eliminates the afternoon transaction cut-off time," says Jason P. Freyou, Sr. Vice President, Chief Operations Officer. "Customers no longer have to race to the bank before 3:00 PM. Teche Federal Bank customers can now make deposits and withdrawals as well as payments on their accounts during branch hours, and expect the transaction to post the same day at any of our 20 branches."

"All-Day Banking gives our business customers more flexibility in making their daily deposits. Business customers can bring in their deposits anytime before closing and have them posted that day. Funds are available sooner, resulting in improved cash flow," continues Freyou.

All-Day Banking excludes transactions made on Saturdays, Sundays and Teche Federal Bank holidays; these transactions are posted the next business day. In addition, ATM transactions performed after 3:00 PM are also posted the next business day. Along with All-Day Banking, the business day for Teche's Online Banking services at www.teche.com ends at 7:00 PM.
