LIMERICK, Pa. (AP) -- Teleflex Inc. said Wednesday that Chief Financial Officer Kevin K. Gordon plans to step down on Jan. 15 for personal reasons.
The company, which provides engineered products and services for the medical, aerospace and commercial markets, said it is in the process of finding a successor.
In a statement, CEO Jeffrey Black said Gordon's departure "does not reflect any concerns on his part regarding the company's financial controls and accounting practices."
He praised Gordon for playing an important role in helping the company expand into the medical device industry. Gordon has been with Teleflex for more than 12 years.
Teleflex did not say if Gordon plans to retire or move on to another company. A call to the company seeking comment was not immediately returned Wednesday morning.
