WASHINGTON (AP) -- Textron Inc.'s Bell Helicopter received a $13.2 million Navy contract to provide more than 140,000 of engineering services for the H-1 aircraft, the Pentagon said late Thursday.
The contractor will provide onsite training for airframe, avionics and electrical systems for the aircraft.
Work will be performed in Camp Pendleton, Calif.; Cherry Point, N.C.; New Orleans, La.; and more and is expected to finish work by October 2012.
Shares of the Providence, R.I., company fell 33 cents to $18.68 in late morning trading Friday.
