About the Author
Dr. Stephen L. Timme is Professor of Botany in the Department of Biology and Director of the T. M. Sperry Herbarium at Pittsburg State University, Kansas, where he has taught biology, ecology, plant taxonomy and other plant identification courses for twenty years. He is the author of Wildflowers of Mississippi and co-author of Wildflowers of the Natchez Trace and Medicinal and Useful Plants of the Upper Amazon. He has photographed plants for more than thirty years, some appear in several books by other authors.
