5 Live shows, Brand-New Vlogging, and More
Sponsored by Viceroy Anguilla Resort & Residences
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Knot (NASDAQ: KNOT; www.theknot.com), the leading online wedding resource, announces the Bridal Fashion Week lineup. This year, The Knot will broadcast live from an unprecedented four runway shows, feature brand-new editor vlogs -- video blogs -- updated in real time, showcase more than 600 runway photos, stream a half-hour live recap special, and much more. The newly opened Viceroy Anguilla Resort & Residences has signed on as the exclusive corporate sponsor for all Bridal Fashion Week related coverage on TheKnot.com.
The Knot will double the amount of live coverage from last season as it broadcasts straight from the runways of world-renowned designers, including Monique Lhuillier, Badgley Mischka, Jenny Packham, and Claire Pettibone.
The Knot Editor in Chief, Carley Roney, along with her team of wedding and fashion editors, will be on-site broadcasting live before the shows, providing unedited commentary and behind-the-scenes excitement, followed by the debut of the designer’s new collection. This event will bring all the glitz and glamour of the runway directly to brides in real time.
Kicking off Saturday, October 17, at 11 a.m. ET on TheKnot.com, Claire Pettibone presents her Spring 2010 Bridal Collection from NYC hot spot Buddakan in the heart of the trendy Meatpacking District. Carley will be interviewing Claire beforehand, and getting a sneak peek at the hair and makeup trends which will be hitting her runway.
Tune in again to TheKnot.com for instant front-row access to the following shows:
But the live coverage doesn’t stop there! Brides are also invited to tune in for a full recap of all of the shows and trends during a special edition of The Knot LIVE (TheKnot.com/live) airing from The Knot headquarters in Manhattan this Monday, October 19, at 3 p.m. ET.
Continuing the coverage, editors at The Knot will be vlogging from dozens of runway shows and appointments. From impromptu interviews to highlighting some of their favorite new trends -- and perhaps even glimpsing at a celebrity sitting front row at a show -- you’ll never know what might happen, so be sure to tune in to TheKnot.com/fashion. The Knot will further distribute bridal fashion week content on leading web portals MSN and AOL.
And as if that’s not enough, video crews from The Knot will be taping at dozens of shows, which you can watch at your convenience on The Knot TV on Demand (TheKnot.com/tv). Also be sure to keep an eye on TheKnot.com/fashion where over 600 new gown photos will be posted during Bridal Fashion Week -- adding even more to the already extensive gown library on TheKnot.com.
