LOS ANGELES, Oct. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Another season of celebration and festivity kicks off at the legendary Biltmore with a series of events celebrating the magic of the holidays and the rich history of downtown LA's most renowned hotel.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Rendezvous Court, Thursday, November 26, 12:00pm - 8:00pm

A Biltmore classic, featuring a four-course menu of organic seasonal dishes and traditional items with an Italian twist.

$45 adults, $24 children

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Main Lobby, Tuesday, December 1, 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Enjoy holiday refreshments and live Victorian carolers amidst the first illumination of a sparkling live fir tree in the Grand Lobby.

Complimentary; open to the public.

Nutcracker Children's Tea

Rendezvous Court, December 12 and 13, 11:00am - 1:00pm

The magical story of the "Nutcracker" comes to life at this year's annual children's tea. In conjunction with the City Ballet of Los Angeles' performance of this time-honored classic, the Biltmore hosts a special tea event for children and parents with tea, holiday sandwiches and cupcakes and featuring performances by dancers from the production, including the Sugar Plum Fairy herself!

Biltmore Angels Victorian Afternoon Tea

Rendezvous Court, Wednesdays-Sundays December 2-24, 2:00pm - 5:00pm

The Biltmore's famous afternoon tea features special items for the holidays, including an assortment of tea sandwiches, miniature desserts and freshly-baked maple scones with homemade Devonshire cream and jam. A wide selection of blended and herbal teas are available, as well as cider, eggnog and Laurent Perrier champagne. Live piano Fridays -Sundays.

$35 adults, ($45 with glass of Laurent Perrier champagne), $25 children

Christmas Dinner

La Bistecca in the Rendezvous Court, Christmas Eve, December 24, 5:00pm - 10:00pm and Christmas Day, December 25, 12:00pm - 8:00pm

A sumptuous four-course menu includes choices like braised Muscovy duck ravioli, organic free-range turkey, roasted North Atlantic halibut with couscous and organic tomatoes, lamb chops with parsley-mint pesto or an organic bone-in ribeye steak with salsa "al chianti." Live piano and carolers Christmas Day!

New Year's Eve Dinner and Gala

Dinner 6:00pm - 10:00pm

Celebrate in grand style with a choice of 2 elegant dinners! A four-course menu in the Rendezvous Court features choices such as Mediterranean sea bass, lamb ribeye with peppermint essence or beef tenderloin, plus a trio of Italian desserts. Or head over to Sai Sai for a lavish tapas buffet of fresh Asian seafood, robata, sushi and more. Dinner includes tickets to New Year's Eve Gala (below).

Gala 9:00pm - 2:00am

The Biltmore's famous annual New Year's Eve Gala is held in the majestic Crystal Ballroom, where the "Oscar" statuette was first conceived, and the legendary Gallery Bar. Dance the night away to DJ-spun music with the best in pop, rock and classics, as well as live music from jazz musician Ryan Cross and his band. Then toast the New Year at midnight with a glass of champagne amid a shower of balloons from the Ballroom's soaring ceiling.

Tickets $50 per person (does not include dinner); 21 and over only.
