Toreador names Marc Senges CFO, Bernard de Combret director, Tony Vermeire commercial director

French oil and natural gas company Toreador Resources Corp. on Wednesday appointed Marc Senges as the company's chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Senges replaces Charles Campise, who will continue in an advisory role until March.

Since December 2006 Senges has been serving as the corporate secretary and general counsel of Progisys International, a private oil and gas services company with operations in Europe, Africa and Asia.

The company also named Bernard de Combret as an independent director on the company's board and appointed Tony Vermeire as the company's commercial director.

De Combret is the former deputy chairman of the executive committee of Total SA. Vermeire most recently served as vice president at Houlihan Lokey, a U.S. investment bank.

Toreador shares rose 10 cents to $7.55 in morning trading.
