CHILLIWACK, BC, Oct. 16 /CNW/ - Tomorrow, Saturday, October 17, Canadian hockey legend Trevor Linden will help CIBC celebrate the grand opening of its new Vedder Crossing Banking Centre. Open six days a week, the new state-of-the-art, 6,100 square-foot, full-service branch is located at 5955 Vedder Road in south Chilliwack.

Linden will be on-site to meet fans and sign autographs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and guests at the event can enter to win a signed and framed Linden jersey or a $1,000 GIC. There will also be a barbecue and a variety of fun activities for families including a caricaturist, wheel of fortune game and a DJ.

	           Monday - Wednesday:     9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
	           Thursday - Friday:      9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
	           Saturday:               9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
	    
The new branch is barrier free with accessibility features such as a sit down teller station and three Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) installed at wheelchair accessible height with headphone jacks for audio access; grab bars for mobility assistance; and brighter lighting. The branch also offers a drive-thru ABM for added convenience.
