SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Engineering and construction company URS Corp. said Friday a team it is leading received a contract from the National Energy Technology Laboratory worth up to $322 million.
The URS-led team will provide research and engineering services to the laboratory's Office of Research and Development. The National Energy Technology Laboratory is part of the Energy Department's Office of Fossil Energy.
The contract includes a two-year base period and options that would extend the contract for an additional three years.
The team includes URS' Washington Division, Midwest Research Institute and a consortium of West Virginia University, Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburgh, Penn State University and Virginia Tech.
