CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Unitrin, Inc. (NYSE: UTR - News) expressed its deep regrets that a member of Unitrin’s board of directors, William E. Johnston, Jr., has passed away. Mr. Johnston became a Unitrin director in 1997 and until recently was the Chairman of the audit committee. With Mr. Johnston’s passing, Unitrin has nine remaining directors.
