Veteran Publisher Brings Fashion, Music and Sports Expertise
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Uptown Magazine, the only luxury lifestyle publication for the affluent African American, has hired John Rollins as Regional Advertising Director. Rollins will be responsible for sales management and growth in local markets including NYC, Atlanta, DC, Charlotte and Chicago.
Rollins has a storied history in the music publishing industry. As Founding Publisher of Vibe Magazine, he supervised ad sales until 2001, when he left to start Tracks Magazine. Rollins was most recently the Group Publisher of IMG Publications, home to fashion’s The Daily and also Tennis Week Magazine.
