Veronicas Single "4ever" Impacting Radio Now

New Video Premiered on AOL Music October 26th; Aussie Twins Featured on Season Finale of MTV’s Styl’d December 20th

BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Super-hot Aussie rock band The Veronicas recently released a gritty re-recorded version of their 2005 debut single “4ever.” The song, which will be available for purchase through digital retailers, impacted radio on October 26^th. The band, fronted by 24-year-old twins Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, also shot a brand-new video for the track, which premiered on AOL Music on the impact date.

The Veronicas decided to re-record “4ever,” the debut single from their 2005 album The Secret Life Of…, after performing a newer version of the Max Martin and Dr. Luke-penned pop song while on the road touring behind their current album Hook Me Up. “Since recording ‘4ever,’ the band has progressed, so we wanted to update the song,” says Jessica. “We recorded more guitars and new vocals to bring the song up to how it sounds when we perform it live.” The new version of “4ever” has already been released in the UK, where it climbed to No. 17 on singles chart.

The new video for “4ever” was directed by photographer Kenneth Cappello, whom Lisa and Jessica met while shooting an episode of the MTV show Styl’d. “We were very excited to do the video with Kenneth,” Jess says. “We wanted to get across the energy of the song with exciting visuals and grittier stylized effects.”

In other Veronicas news, Lisa and Jessica will be featured on the season finale of Styl’d as they do a photo shoot with Kenneth Cappello. The eight-week show follows junior stylists in the fashion industry as they style various actors and musicians to win a coveted contract with Margaret Maldonado Agency. The Veronicas’ episode airs on December 20^th.
