Versar, Inc. Awarded $5 Million in New Air Force Contracts

SPRINGFIELD, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Versar, Inc. (NYSE Amex: VSR) announced its U.S. Engineering and Construction Group was awarded six new contracts by the U.S. Air Force totaling over $5 million.

The new awards were issued under Versar’s SATOC contract with the Air Force Civil Engineering Support Agency for sustainment, renovation, and modernization at three US Air Force installations and will be completed in the next 12 months. The scope of work includes the installation of vehicle and final denial barriers at Maxwell AFB in Alabama; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning repairs, repairing parking lots, demolishing an obsolete heat plant, and repairing fire alarm systems at Andrews AFB in Maryland; and minor repairs at a bulk fuel storage facility at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio.
